VRNATION APPOINTS INDUSTRY VETERAN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SIGNALING NEW ERA OF GROWTH AND INNOVATION
Tigard, OR - December 9, 2024 - VRNation, the leading organization supporting vacation rental managers, and ASTRHO (Association for Short Term Rental Homeowners) today announced their merger, creating a unified force to serve the entire spectrum of the short-term rental industry. This strategic alliance will enhance support for both vacation rental managers and individual hosts, also known as RBOs (Rental by Owners), reinforcing the industry's growth and professionalism.
The merged entity, which will retain the VRNation name, will continue its mission to provide comprehensive education, industry best practices, networking opportunities, and valuable resources to its members. This expansion allows VRNation to address the needs of hosts at all levels, from single-property owners to large-scale vacation rental management companies with 1000+ unit franchise models.

Networking Opportunities: Members will have access to an expanded network of industry professionals, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Resource Hub: VRNation will serve as a comprehensive resource center, offering tools, templates, and best practices for all aspects of short-term rental management.
Member Benefits
As part of this merger, all current ASTRHO members on any tier will receive full VRNation member benefits through the end of 2025. Starting in 2026, these members will have the opportunity to join as full, paying members at a rate of $99-199 per year, based on the number of properties they manage or host. This transition ensures that ASTRHO members continue to receive valuable support and resources while gradually integrating into the VRNation membership structure.
VRNation remains unique in its operational structure, being run entirely by vacation rental managers and supported by advisory boards consisting of industry vendors, vacation rental managers, and RBOs. This peer-led approach ensures that the organization stays closely aligned with the real-world needs and challenges of its members.
