With over two decades of experience in vacation rentals, Heidie brings expertise in leadership, sales, marketing, and business development, along with a strong background in nonprofit work. Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment as VRNation expands its national footprint, promising exciting opportunities for members and partners alike.

Her strategic vision aims to elevate industry standards, foster innovation, and strengthen the VRNation community by enhancing educational resources and connecting members with valuable industry partners.  

Heidie’s extensive experience in the short-term rental industry includes roles in sales and marketing leadership for a luxury property management company, procurement, and business development for booking channels and channel managers. As Co-Founder of ASTRHO and a hands-on host since 2000, her expertise in forging strategic partnerships and driving market growth positions VRNation for unprecedented success.

As VRNation continues to thrive under the guidance of our dedicated team of volunteer property management company owners, our executive board recognizes the need for full-time leadership to focus on membership growth. This strategic shift will enhance our advocacy efforts, expand our educational programs, and strengthen our flourishing marketplace.
